Material & Responsability
Wedding rings and jewelry are a symbol of eternity. For us, this means that they not only last a lifetime but can also be worn with a clear conscience. As a manufacturer, we handcraft your rings and jewelry in Germany and place the highest value on transparency, environmental protection, and ethical supply chains.
Here you can find out in black and white where our materials come from and how we ensure their origin.
1. Certified Recycled Gold (Secondary Gold), Platinum, and Silver
To protect the environment, we consciously avoid using freshly mined gold, silver, or platinum in our alloys. We exclusively use certified secondary precious metals that are 100% recycled.
Identical Quality: Recycled precious metals are refined in certified refineries to such a high degree of purity that they possess the exact same premium quality (e.g., 999 fine gold) as precious metals from mines, both chemically and visually.
Our Certifications: We source our precious metals exclusively from partners certified according to the strict guidelines of the RJC (Responsible Jewellery Council) – you can find the corresponding certificate here. This guarantees complete traceability, fair working conditions, and the exclusion of conflict regions.
Environmental Benefit: Reprocessing saves up to 99% CO₂ emissions compared to traditional gold mining, as well as vast quantities of water and chemicals.
2. Tantalum – The Fascinating Metal of the Gods
Tantalum is a rare, graphite-gray, high-tech metal. In our workshop, its melting point of over 3,000 °C demands true "Tantalusian pain" and masterful craftsmanship – but rewards you, the wearer, with extreme scratch resistance and 100% hypoallergenic properties.
Our Certifications: Since tantalum is not legally classified as a precious metal, we ensure its ethical sourcing through our contractual supply chain. We source the pure metal from specialized German and European technology partners.
RMI compliance at the melt level: Our suppliers are contractually obligated to comply with the EU Conflict Minerals Regulation ((EU) 2017/821). They provide us with written assurance that the raw material originates exclusively from smelters that have been independently audited as conflict-free according to the RMAP (Responsible Minerals Assurance Process) of the RMI (Responsible Minerals Initiative).
Resource conservation: Wherever possible, our partners utilize a high proportion of recycled material from industrial reprocessing.
Transparency note: For reasons of trade confidentiality and to protect our industrial supply chains, we do not publish internal supplier IDs on our website. Compliance is fully documented internally.
3. Sustainable lab-grown diamonds (MANUFAKTURDIAMANTEN®)
As a modern, resource-conserving alternative to traditional mine diamonds, we offer lab-grown diamonds. They are optically, chemically, and physically 100% identical to natural diamonds – but are created under controlled conditions above ground.
Our proof: We work exclusively with the German specialist DIAVON. This allows us to provide concrete evidence of the stones' sustainability.
100% Renewable Energy & CarbonNeutral®: The lab-grown diamonds we process are cultivated in modern facilities powered exclusively by certified hydropower. The creation of the rough diamonds is therefore demonstrably CO₂-neutral and independently certified. Here is the link to the manufacturer's website.
Fair working conditions: The entire supply chain meets strict international social, ESG, and SMETA standards.
Independent grading (from 0.50 ct): Every larger stone is graded by the IGI (International Gemological Institute). As a guarantee of authenticity, the diamond bears a microscopic laser engraving with its individual certificate number on the girdle, which you will also find on your physical certificate.
4. Natural Diamonds from Conflict-Free Sources
If you choose classic mined diamonds, we also leave their origin to chance.
Our Certifications: Every natural diamond in our rings comes from ethically sound sources. We work exclusively with diamond dealers who strictly adhere to the international Kimberley Process certification system – you can find the certification here.
Guarantee: We and our suppliers guarantee in writing on every certificate issued that these diamonds are 100% conflict-free and do not contribute to the financing of civil wars.
